Welcome to Enchanted Herbals

Hi, I’m Tracey.

Born and raised in Kansas, I’m a homesteader and herbalist. As an herbalist I’ve learned an herbal education never ends.

My husband and I are also chicken farmers and together we run a small farm in Butler County, Kansas called Rusty Chain Farm.

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.

How Enchanted Herbals was created.

Several decades ago, I started playing with herbal teas. I read books, study plants and began to take classes to learn more about the plants I found and how to use them. I was fascinated by the weeds I found in our yard.

When I had grandkids, I looked for all-natural skin care for their delicate and young skin. I couldn’t find what I was looking for. It was then I decided I could starting making it myself.

Since then, my goal is to make sure you know how to create these herbal remedies and skin care products for your own family. I want you to know using herbs for the minor illnesses, injuries and the everyday aches & pains is something you can learn.

I want to make sure you have the information you need to give home herbalism a try. To learn to use herbs on an everyday basis without fear and doubt.

Herbal Education

This website is full of information.

You’ll find information on upcoming workshops for making herbal remedies as well as plant walks.

You can also find free guides with recipes for making your own simple herbal remedies and skin care.

In the herbal blog you’ll find lots of information for different herbs and herbal preparations along with recipes you can make for yourself.

Most of the herbs you’ll find me talking about here are found naturally in my area or region. My purpose is to make using herbs and plants as accessible to everyone. And using what’s available in nature is the best way to do that.

And while that is the best way to go, not all herbs and plants we may want to use grow in our area. Or you may not be able to or want to forage on your own. We’re lucky in this day in age to be able to buy those herbs and plants, and that’s okay too.
